The challenge
Nordline had strong demand from EU customers ordering online, but no local entities, warehouses, or retail leases. Leadership wanted three markets live before the next holiday season without hiring a full in-house expansion team.
What we did
We built a sequenced entry plan for Germany first, then Spain and the Netherlands. In parallel, our logistics team shortlisted 3PL partners and designed inbound lanes that shared inventory across markets where it made sense.
Customs classification and preferential origin documentation were locked before the first container sailed, so early shipments cleared without holds.
The outcome
Nordline opened its first Berlin store nine months after kickoff, with online fulfillment covering all three countries from two regional hubs. The same playbook is now their default for the next two markets on the roadmap.
